About the Author

I am a writer and media creator, my work is rooted in memory, endurance, and the power of stories. Through my publishing brand, SleepForm Studio, I create books and media that immerse audiences in worlds both remembered and imagined.

Growing up in the West, I often saw the Crusades told through a narrow lens, where Arabs and Muslims were cast as faceless enemies and history bent to bias. That silence, and the way its echoes reach into today’s conflicts, reminded me that history’s wounds are never buried — only repeated.

The Father of Beasts, my first historical novel, was written to restore balance: to tell the story from the side that was demonised, without distortion or sugarcoating, and to let the forgotten stand in the place history denied them.

Whether it’s the hush of rain against a window, the rhythm of waves along the coast, or the echoes of history carried through a story, my aim is simple: to bring worlds to life in ways that linger.

Books

My debut collection, From Rain to Moonlight, gathered short reflective writings inspired by nature and stillness. It was created to capture quiet moments — the same atmosphere that runs through SleepForm Studio’s media.

My first novel, The Father of Beasts, moves in a very different direction: historical fiction rooted in the chronicles of the First Crusade. It tells the story of Ma’arrat al-Nu’man in the winter of 1098 — a city besieged, its people enduring famine, betrayal, and violence. At its heart, it is a story of endurance, loyalty, and memory, where history and legend meet.

Together, these works show the range of SleepForm Studio’s publishing journey — from reflective writing to epic storytelling — united by a focus on immersion and resonance.

Creative Media

Beyond books, I produce long-form ambient videos on YouTube — filmed across Australia — that weave together sound, light, and place. These projects aren’t separate from my writing, but part of the same vision: creating experiences that immerse you, whether on the page or the screen.

Vision

At its core, SleepForm Studio is about immersion and storytelling. I believe in works that take their time — whether through the quiet rhythm of rain or the intensity of history under siege.
